Yesterday the travel and manufactured spending blogosphere exploded with information about the new cards from American Express. They are called the American Express Everyday and American Express Everyday Preferred. I am not going to go over these two cards in-depth, because it has been done several times. This is big news since you can transfer Membership Rewards points to many travel partners. You can see the transfer partners here. Amex usually offers transfer bonuses which tends to make Membership Rewards better than Ultimate Rewards.
Here is one of the three ads American Express had on the Grammy’s last night starring Tina Fey. You may notice she doesn’t swipe the magnetic strip on the credit card processing machine. I think that is thievery!
