If you were on my blog sometime over the weekend, you may have noticed things changing. I added a two new pages Sign Up Links and Deals, which can be found under the Resources tab on the navigation bar.
Sign Up Links
I read many different blogs about travel and manufactured spending every day. What I’ve noticed is that every one of them has sign up links displayed in a different way. Some have them all on one page, while others spread them throughout posts. Some write that they are affiliate links and others do not. My favorite bloggers are completely transparent about their affiliate links which I admire. That is why I wanted to go with the sign up links on one page idea. That way I can write what you get by signing up and what I get when you click-through my referral link.
I do not expect you to sign up for every program I put on that page. I simply want to get the information out there, so you can find out what programs work for you. I do, however, appreciate you using my affiliate links. I know there are many travel and deal bloggers out there, so it means a lot to me when you decide to use my affiliate links over theirs.
Deals
This page is exactly what it sounds like. I frequent many deal sites and I want to share the best ones I find. There is no rhyme or reason to what deals I will post. I will just post whatever deals I find that I really like. I decided to put this on its own page, because I usually have a set schedule for my posts and I did not want deals to clutter my home page. I cannot say when or how often I will post on the deals page, but my assumption is that I will post there more often than I make normal posts, since those posts will be less time-consuming.
What I’m Working On
I have a few posts in the pipeline that have taken longer than I expected due to other obligations getting in the way. I am trying to continue my 5-6 posts a week schedule, however sometimes that will not be possible. Here are the posts you can expect to see in the next few days/weeks:
- Everything: Serve – I love making the Everything series, because it’s nice to have all the information in one place.
A Serve section (similar to my Bluebird section) in the Nav Bar. Serve has become my new favorite prepaid card and I don’t think it gets the attention it deserves, so I will be making a few posts on it.I was actually able to finish this over the weekend. You can see it on the tab called Prepaid Cards in the nav bar.- Reselling Guide – I have been dipping my feet into reselling which has been a very interesting experience. As soon as I finish my experiment with it I will make a post describing how to do it, mistakes that can easily be avoided, how to maximizes your profit, and much more.
- Trip Reports – I really like reading about people’s trip reports, because it gives me a drive to visit the places they did. I don’t expect to post one of these any time soon, however I will post this in the future.
- Pixel’s Birthday – It’s my cat, Pixel’s, birthday this week! He won’t be my little kitten anymore, it’s quite sad. I am working on a fun post to celebrate it. 🙂
