I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend! Here’s the weekend round-up, for those that didn’t have much free time this weekend.
American Express Offers
I haven’t talked about American Express offers much, but they are awesome! Basically, Amex gives you coupons that automatically apply to your account when you hit the spending goal. For example, right now there is an Amex offer for Lowe’s that gives you $10 back when you spend $50. Most of the time these offers even apply to physical gift cards. Lowe’s sells many different gift cards by the way ;).
FrequentMiler reported that a reader of his was able to get Amex offers on both their Serve account and their sub-accounts. You can have four sub-accounts, which means you can technically have 5 of the same Amex offers per Serve account. That can come in handy when Amex has great offers like the $20 off $100 at Staples they had recently. Current American Express Offers Here is a compiled list of all the Amex offers currently available (that I could find). If I missed any, let me know.
CashBackMonitor Updates CashBackMonitor added two new features to their site. First, they added “My Monitor”, which lets you select a group of stores you regularly check, to monitor. Second, they added “My Alerts”, which will email you when one of the stores in your “My Monitor” section has a change in earnings. So, if you are monitoring Amex Gift cards and BigCrumbs changes from 2% to 4% cash back, CashBackMonitor will notify you. I can see these changes being very beneficial for stores such as Amex, Staples, Best Buy, and much more!
