Kohl’s is one of my favorite stores to shop at, primarily because they are extremely generous when it comes to coupons, rewards, and portals. Not only that, but they also offer decently competitive prices on their product. I say “decently,” because they’re no Amazon (I mean c’mon, who is?) But compared to most non-Amazon retailers, they price their product very affordably.
With their charge card, coupons, Kohl’s cash, and rewards program, it’s hard NOT to find something worth reselling.
If you want to check out my other reselling guides, you can do so below:
I like to think of my Kohl’s Charge card as my VIP pass to savings. Without it, Kohl’s offers good coupons that help save money on normal purchases. With it, the savings grow significantly and the reselling opportunities are endless. What makes it so great, you ask? Simple, Kohl’s gives Charge card holders exclusive coupons throughout the year that are much better than any coupon given to non-Charge card holders. For example, Charge card holders often receive 30% off coupons vs the 15%-20% off coupons non-card holders receive.
Notes:
Are the coupons really worth a hard pull? Originally, I didn’t think so, but after using my Kohl’s Charge card for a few months, I’ve changed my mind. To show you just how useful the Charge card is, let’s look at Kohl’s most recent coupons.
Charge card holders received 30% off and free shipping for all orders, while non card holders only received 15% off and free shipping on orders of $75 or more. With that in mind, take a look at the following table to see how much an order would cost with and without a Charge card.
Charge Card Price | Non Charge Card Price | |
---|---|---|
$25 Purchase | $17.50 | $27.20 |
$50 Purchase | $35 | $49.45 |
$100 Purchase | $70 | $85 |
$200 Purchase | $140 | $170 |
$500 Purchase | $350 | $425 |
As you can see, purchases made with Charge card coupons are significantly cheaper than non-Charge card coupons, especially if you resell Kohl’s product a lot.
Notes:
As mentioned above, using a gift card is the best way to avoid charging anything to your Charge card, while still giving you the ability to use Charge card specific coupons. Cool right?
The best place to find discounted Kohl’s gift cards is GiftCardGranny.com. You can usually find them selling at 90%-95% of the retail price. In addition to that, you can usually earn 1%-2% back from a portal and 1%-2% back from your credit card. That works out to a gift card that’s 14% off!
Notes:
Kohl’s Cash is another one of Kohl’s great promotions that usually occurs in conjunction with everything else mentioned on this post. Kohl’s Cash works like this: You earn $10 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 you spend, after coupons and before taxes.
Notes:
Yes2Rewards is Kohl’s new rewards program that earns you money off your orders. Every dollar spent earns 1 point and every 100 points earns a $5 reward. As of right now, you can earn 100 points just for joining.
Notes:
With the amount of coupons and rewards Kohl’s offers, it’s easy to see why people love shopping there. It’s even easier to see that reselling Kohl’s product is a great way to make some money!
